Jennifer Lopez's Marriage is Not in Trouble

Jennifer Lopez is entering her first Christmas with twins Max and Emme. Despite rumors that her marriage with Marc Anthony is in trouble, her representative stated that the marriage is okay and everything is fine.

The rumors started recently because Marc Anthony was partying solo in Las Vegas, where he watched the Oscar De La Hoya boxing match with Eva Longoria Parker and Russell Crowe. The sight of Marc alone surprised most people, even at the time, because this is one married couple that does everything together. It also didn't help when Jennifer left her wedding ring at home when she attended the premiere of Brad Pitt's new movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".

Jennifer Lopez Just as Qualified as Caroline Kennedy for Senate?

Jennifer Lopez's name has been mentioned in the debate about Caroline Kennedy's (JFK's daughter) ability to serve in the US Senate.

Queens Rep. Gary Ackerman said, "I don't know what Caroline Kennedy's qualifications are, except that she has name recognition, but so does J.Lo, I wouldn't make J.Lo the senator unless she proved she had great qualifications, but we haven't seen them yet." New York Gov. David Paterson has reportedly contacted Kennedy about taking over Hillary Clinton's Senate seat. Kennedy has been the director of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Commission on Presidential Debates, among other things.

While we like Jennifer Lopez as a person, we don't think she's qualified to be a senator. Of course what do we know, as we also felt that action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't qualified to be California Governor (a position he holds until 2011) when he was first elected in 2003.
