The Web site allheadlinenews.com is reporting that Jennifer Lopez's film
"Bordertown" will be released at the end of August. The Internet Movie Data
Base page for the film states the movie will have a limited release in the
United States on August 31. Antonio Banderas also stars in the film. Lopez
plays a Chicago journalist investigating the murders of several young female
workers in Juarez, Mexico. It is loosely based on the real series of
unsolved cases dating back to the early 1990s. Since 1993, over 450 girls
and women have been killed in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua City, Mexico.
Wola.org is trying to help bring justice to the situation.

Jennifer Lopez is going to release an English album later this year and the song "Hold It, Don't Drop It" is her first single from it. The song has been leaked and we found it. It's pretty good, some say better than her Spanish songs. We hope her English album will be full of hits.

Mark Anthony's ex Torres will never 'talk trash' about Lopez

Mark Anthony's ex-wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres will never nitpick at the singer's current wife Jennifer Lopez, for the sake of her kids.
The former Miss Universe insisted that she would never be the one who will 'talk trash' because she cares about the ill effect on her kids. "Never in my life will I be one to talk trash or criticise. I think of my kids," Contactmusic quoted Torres, as saying.
The 32-year-old, who separated with Anthony for the second time in October 2003 reportedly over incompatibility, believed that people were so curious about what happened with her. "I don't understand why people expect the worse. Perhaps that's why so many people see what has happened to me and perhaps see it admirably, because it would have been much easier for a person to undergo situations, being hurt and trying to heal, insulting and talking trash," she said.
Torres insisted on taking a 'higher route' by not criticising anyone to forget her pain. "But I took another route, a much higher route," she added. Torres married Anthony on 9 May 2000 and they have two sons. There was trouble in the marriage, and the two first separated in summer 2002 reconciling in December 2002 and splitting again in 2003.On June 5, 2004, less than a week after the divorce was finalized in the Dominican Republic, Anthony married Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham Discuss Insecurity
Jennifer Lopez was surprised by Victoria Beckham's honesty when the pair met for the first time, because the Spice Girl openly admitted to being insecure and wanted to know if she was too? Lopez was amazed by how "sweet" Beckham came across, and admitted to having moments of self-doubt too.
She tells American publication Glamour, "Victoria said, 'People would never guess you're insecure. Are you? Because I know I am.' It was like she had to hear it from me. "And I said, 'Yeah, of course I am.' She said, 'But you seem so confident.' And I said, 'Because I am confident! It doesn't mean I don't have my moments. But you have to remember the value of your individuality - that you have something special and different to offer that nobody else can.' Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham aren't the only celebrities who admit to feeling insecure - actress Catherine Zeta-Jones recently confessed to finding it difficult being herself in front of strangers, because she lacks self-confidence.

Marc Anthony Selects Actress to Play Jennifer Lopez

Interestingly enough it was not Executive Producer Jennifer Lopez who selected Chilean actress Leonor Varela to play her in the upcoming Spanish-language miniseries "La Flor Palida". Varela’s role was actually selected by Marc Anthony on account that her and J. Lo share similar biographical details. Anthony should definitely be able to select the appropriate person to play his wife, but considering all of Lopez’s talents, Leonor will definitely have some powerful shoes to fill.

Jennifer Lopez to Give Up Her JLo Name
Jennifer Lopez has decided to give up her famous performing title of JLo
(J.Lo, J-Lo) so that she can eliminate her reputation as a diva. "That's all
gone with the ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on
Egyptian sheets. That's all firmly in my past. If you focus on the money you
're not going to get anywhere. If money is your motivation you're going to
be such an empty shallow person" she is quoted as saying.
